Embracing time for yourself and supporting others.
It can be easy to feel overwhelmed in so many ways, especially lately. We sometimes obsess over our bodies, looks, schedules, things we haven’t done, comparisons and so much more. Take a few minutes to think about what your perfect relaxation method looks like and make it a point to fit it into your busy schedule. Unfortunately, we all seem to have our flaws or insecurities about ourselves. Can you imagine the confidence boost we’d experience if we didn’t worry so much about things like that? As women especially, it seems that we tend to over analyze every little detail about not only our physical appearance but also nearly everything else. For this reason, I think it is crucial to our mental health to give ourselves a break every now and then. Recognize when you are feeling overwhelmed and make a promise to yourself to adjust where you must to make a difference.
What do we mean by a break? I think it can be something as simple as allowing yourself to be lazy for a day, looking natural and doing absolutely nothing if that is something you rarely do. Just remember it is okay to be messy. It is okay to feel like you need to hit a reset button on yourself. It is also okay to feel like you want to make an effort to be the best version of yourself and feel more confident than ever before. It is so important to accept yourself in every shape and form, but supporting other women is also something we should all focus on a little more. We should be able to lean on one another. After all, no one understands what we go through like other women.
Through the ups and downs, we really only have ourselves to count on. Make sure you are taking the best care of yourself for yourself.
